Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT (R) certification for a hospital imaging department.
Requirements
ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
NY state license required upon start (license required if applicable)
EPIC charting experience required
Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be considered
First-time travelers accepted
Responsibilities
Adult acute care and outpatient MRI setting
Approximately 20 visits per day across 1 room
Night shift, Monday through Friday, 5x8 hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Floating required
Performs abdomen, pelvis, chest, breast, head and neck, brain, and spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic) imaging
Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba MRI equipment along with PACS
Performs special imaging procedures including diffusion, gradient echo imaging, perfusion, multiplanar reconstruction, and image post-processing
Follows isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols
Candidates with more than 10 days of requested RTO will not be considered
Previous employees may be considered for rehire after a 6-month system-wide break in service
Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted for this position
