Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT MR certification for a 13-week assignment.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
ARRT MR and BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
License required if applicable
Experience performing MRA, MRV, and MRCP studies
Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
Experience starting peripheral IVs and following isolation precautions/PPE protocols
Trauma Level II experience preferred
Experience in large healthcare facility settings required
Must provide two professional references and permanent address at time of consideration
Responsibilities
Work in the MRI department performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures
Patient population includes adult acute care, adult ICU, adult and pediatric outpatient, ER/trauma, and pediatric acute care cases
Performs MRI studies including abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging
Utilizes Philips and Siemens MRI equipment
5x8 night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM
No on-call requirements
First-time travelers will be considered for this role
Facility does not accept local candidates; permanent address must be at least 90 miles from the facility
Former permanent staff are not eligible for consideration for 10 years following separation
RTO limited to 2 requests per contract
Travelers completing 2 consecutive contracts must take a 6-month break before returning, with exceptions considered case-by-case
Pre-start orientation modules are required prior to beginning the assignment
