Job description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT certification and experience in inpatient and emergency department settings.
Requirements
Current CRT, BLS, ARRT certification, and CA Venipuncture Certification required
License required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of concurrent experience in specialty required
1.5 years continuous experience in specialty without breaks (unless floating or meeting equivalent skillset criteria)
Travel experience required, including 1 year total and 6+ months continuous leading up to submission
EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months required
Must provide valid copies of all required certifications at time of consideration
BLS certification must be AHA-issued
1 supervisory-level reference required
Interview availability required, including specific days, times, and time zone
Responsibilities
MRI Technologist role within the Radiology/Cardiology department
Inpatient and Emergency department setting
Night shift, 4x10 hours from 9:00 PM to 7:15 AM
Uses EPIC EMR system
May require call coverage as needed for department support
Perform MRI imaging procedures within a hospital-based radiology department supporting inpatient and emergency services
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Returning staff and travelers eligible to return after 1 year
Maximum 7 days RTO allowed, with no additional RTO requests after submission
Local candidates within 100 miles are not eligible unless specific exceptions apply
Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or longer are considered local and ineligible to submit
