Job description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a Level I trauma hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT MR certification.
Requirements
ARRT MR certification (must include MRI listed), BLS required
State license required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
Level I Trauma experience required
1 year of Epic EMR experience required
Teaching hospital experience preferred
Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts preferred
Skilled in MRI procedures including MRA, MRV, MRCP, CINE, and image post-processing techniques
Responsibilities
Night shift, 3x12 hours, Wednesday-Friday 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
No call requirements
Adult and pediatric patient population across acute care, ICU, ER/trauma, and outpatient settings
Performs MRI imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal regions
Utilizes PACS and Philips MRI equipment
May float to other units or campuses within qualifications and documented competencies
Perform diagnostic MRI imaging across a wide range of anatomical regions and specialties, including cardiovascular and musculoskeletal studies
Follows isolation precautions and PPE protocols
Hunter Green scrubs required
Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training
First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
