Job description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for evening shifts, requiring MRI and Siemens equipment experience along with ARRT MRI certification.
Requirements
Required MRI experience
Required Siemens equipment experience
Active ARRT MRI certification
Active BLS certification (AHA)
License required if applicable
Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to MRI specialty required for consideration
Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required for consideration
Responsibilities
324-bed medical center with 24-hour emergency care and Level II trauma care
Uses Epic EMR and Siemens MRI equipment
5x8 hour evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
One weekend per month required (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
No call requirements
Prepare scan room and patient for MRI examinations, including administering IV or oral contrast as needed
Screen patients for contraindications, explain procedures, and answer patient questions prior to imaging
Position patients appropriately and utilize correct protocols, coils, and restraints during scans
Ensure proper image orientation and prepare complete records for radiologist review
Matching scrubs of any color required
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
