Job description
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent
Minimum of one year of MRI imaging experience in a clinical environment
New York State licensure or eligibility
Proficiency with MRI equipment operation and related software
Strong patient communication and care skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging processes, and ensure comfort throughout
Collaborate closely with radiologists and physicians for accurate diagnosis and care planning
Maintain high standards of patient privacy, documentation, and record-keeping
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine quality assurance checks
