Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring compact RN license, 2 years of experience, and Epic proficiency.
Details
Float pool position covering MS/Tele units and Rehab as needed
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
Every other weekend (EOW) work required, with additional weekend coverage as needed
No on-call requirements
Floating required to MS/Tele units and Rehab
Requirements
Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Epic charting experience required
Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response
Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and peripheral line care/management
Competent in respiratory care including nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and oxygen tank use
Knowledgeable in isolation precautions and PPE use
Additional Information
May care for COVID-positive patients
Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's), or 1 of 2 if contract spans fewer holidays
RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract
Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius, offered at a lower rate
Travel pairs accepted, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
