GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in St. Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg, Telemetry | St. Louis, MO | Contract Quick Look Weekly Gross Pay: $2,116 - $2,227 Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 18 weeks Number of Openings: Not specified Join our team as a Med Surg/Telemetry Float Registered Nurse in St. Louis, MO! As a leading acute-care hospital, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Float between medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro units as needed. Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6 for days and weekends, and 1:6 for nights. Communicate effectively with the float pool regarding unit assignments. Utilize lift devices, ceiling lifts, and bladder scanners (training provided).
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. BCLS and ACLS certifications required; IV start and telemetry experience required. NIH certification preferred. Must be able to float within the scope to meet facility needs. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum, plus holiday rotation obligation. Accepting first-time travelers. Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. RTO restrictions: No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract. Pending licenses accepted.
