Schedule / Job TypeContract 13-Week Travel Assignment Days, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in an 18-bed Neuro CCU/ICU setting with a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
Operate and monitor specialized equipment including cardiac monitors, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, EVDs/LDs, continuous EEG, lumbar drains, Arctic Sun, and Licox systems
Assist with and support procedures such as intubations, central line placement, EVD/LD placement, and Licox catheter placement
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, CNCs, and patient care technicians across day and night shifts
Required QualificationsActive RN license valid for practice in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of current ICU experience
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Preferred Experience / SkillsPrior experience caring for neurological patient populations
Familiarity with Meditech EMR
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
