Job Summary
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) healthcare provider role is located in a hospital setting and involves caring for infants in a specialized critical care environment. The position focuses on data collection, patient monitoring, and supporting procedures within the NICU unit. This role is critical for ensuring high-quality care for newborns requiring intensive medical attention.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid CPR certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, ventilator experience, experience with infants at 23 to 40+ weeks gestation, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with ventilator/oscillator skills and Cardio-Pulmonary Nursing (CPN) charting experience will be prioritized.
Additional Information: Unit Information: 32 beds, with 63 staff members including charge nurses, unit clerks, and nurses.
Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:3.
Equipment: Ventilators, oscillators, Vapotherm devices.
Typical procedures include intubations, eye exams, feeding tube insertions, and IV insertions.
Dress code: Scrubs in royal blue.
Float: May be required for Level II NICU and Newborn Nursery.
Weekends: Three to four weekends per month; no on-call responsibilities.

End Date: 01/25/2027
