TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Number of Staff – 120
Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, 2 RTs, tech
o Night Shift - 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, 2 RTs
Patient Ratios – 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4
EMR - Cerner
Floating Area(s): Peds, PICU, Mother Baby (babies only)
Scrub Color/Attire - navy blue

The hospital is known as the regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care and is the only Level II trauma center comprehensive stroke center and children's hospital in western North Carolina.Mission Hospital offers a variety of specialties including cardiovascular orthopedics neurosciences oncology pediatrics women's services and behavioral health. The hospital's cardiovascular services include the only open heart and interventional cardiology in the region. Mission Hospital is also the second busiest surgical hospital in North Carolina. The onsite Mission Children's Hospital features 96 beds dedicated to infants and children including a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU. The hospital continues to grow and recently opened a new state-of-the-art patient tower that has over square feet which includes a new Emergency Department new interventional procedural rooms new operating rooms and hosts 220 private patient rooms.
