Fusion Medical Staffing – Radiology is recruiting a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Memphis, Tennessee.

Facility in Memphis, Tennessee.
Required Qualifications
One year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technician.
Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
Other certifications and licenses required for this position.
Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a highly specialized healthcare professional responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. They operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards while collaborating with the healthcare team.
Essential Work Functions
Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions.
Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment, reporting malfunctions and ensuring safety compliance.
Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per protocols.
Monitors patients for adverse reactions, intervening as necessary.
Operates imaging equipment to create images per physician orders.
Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity and compliance.
Follows hospital safety rules and radiation safety procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
Required Essential Skills

English language reading, writing, and communication.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, PC proficiency.
Physical Abilities – remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend.
Interpersonal Skills – work with a variety of personnel with professionalism.
Technical/Motor Skills – fine manipulation, assist with procedures, use department equipment.
Mental Requirements – cope with public contact, meet deadlines, work with or without supervision, maintain concentration to detail.
