Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist jobs in Connecticut let you perform diagnostic nuclear imaging for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency populations. You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT imaging, and operate gamma cameras and imaging workstations. You will monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, document radiopharmaceutical administration and dosimetry, and follow all radiation safety and NRC compliance requirements(1).
Required qualifications include ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification, an active Connecticut nuclear medicine license or eligibility, and at least 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience. BLS certification is also required. SPECT/CT or PET experience and strong communication skills are recommended(1).
