TheraEX Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bakersfield, California.

Shift: Nights | Every Other Weekend | First to Float
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
Orientation: 3 weeks (1 week classroom + 2 weeks unit)
Requirements
3 years experience
Must have recent Charge RN experience
No first-time travelers
Active RN license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS (AHA or APEX)
BSN not required
Charting System: Cerner
Role Overview
On-shift leadership (charge + clinical mentor + manager blend)
Oversees patient safety & care quality
Rounds on patients and addresses service/safety concerns
Supports staff and unit operations
Takes charge assignments based on census/staffing
Compensation
Job ID # . Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
