Common Equipment: Impella, IABP, and CRRTn
Charting System: Cernern
Job Requirements
n Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensen
At least 1 year of recent CVICU or acute care nursing experience requiredn
1.5 years of experience preferred for strong candidatesn
Current ACLS and BLS certification requiredn
CCRN certification preferredn
Associate degree in Nursing or higher preferredn
Strong critical thinking skills in a high-acuity critical care settingn
Comfort caring for adult and geriatric cardiac patientsn
Responsibilities
n Provide high-quality bedside nursing care for critically ill cardiovascular patientsn
Monitor and assess patients recovering from CABG, TAVR, STEMI, carotid, and other complex cardiac proceduresn
Manage advanced critical care equipment and support therapies as clinically indicatedn
Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care teamn
Maintain accurate documentation and respond quickly to changes in patient conditionn
Support safe, efficient care delivery in a fast-paced ICU environmentn
Float per scheduled rotation as needed to meet unit needsn
Contribute to a patient-centered culture focused on safety, quality, and teamworkn
