Job Details
Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of urgent care experience; knowledge of nursing process, customer service principles, safety and infection control principles; skills in assessments, specimen collection, equipment use; effective communication skills; ability to multi-task, work independently, and be a team-player; willingness to teach, problem-solve, and utilize critical thinking skills.

Additional Information: This position functions within the Urgent Care Department to assist patients and medical staff, supporting clinic operations and ensuring compliance with standards. The start date is set for 11/01/2026, and the assignment concludes on 05/02/2027. Applicants must hold an active Alaska license at the time of submittal and recent urgent care or emergency department experience. Proof of flu vaccine is required. The employer does not provide housing or transportation. Application is limited to travelers living at least 100 miles away from the facility.
