Job Summary
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) nurse is needed at the healthcare organization located in the specified region. This role involves providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in a surgical environment, focusing on cardiovascular procedures. The nurse will communicate regularly with physicians, assist with equipment and supply management, and monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Job Details
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active state Registered Nurse (RN) license, BSN preferred, current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon start and maintain current, 4 years clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory performing cardiac work or in a Critical Care setting required.
Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with on-call requirements.
Additional Information: Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations, addresses psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment, and participates in performance and quality improvement activities. Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory, and ensures procedure room or equipment functionality.
