Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)n

Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 - $1,990n
Patient Ratio: 1:4n
Unit Size: 22-bed stepdown unitn
Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and every other holiday; flexibility to float to like units as neededn
Charting System: Cerner PowerChartn
Job Requirements
n Active Registered Nurse licensen
Minimum of 2 years of stepdown, telemetry, or ICU nursing experiencen
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS requiredn
CPI preferredn
Experience caring for adult and geriatric patientsn
Comfortable working in a fast-paced intermediate care environmentn
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduledn
Ability to float to like units when neededn
First-time travelers will be consideredn
Responsibilities
n Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients with complex medical needsn
Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in conditionn
Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to unit protocolsn
Support patients recovering from CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, DKA, stroke, and post-surgical conditionsn
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teamsn
Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Cerner PowerChartn
Assist with patient flow and float to like units based on staffing and census needsn
Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach while promoting excellent patient outcomesn
