Schedule Notes: Assignments end on Saturday; block scheduling is not available, but weekend-only requests may be consideredn
Additional Notes: Charge nurse responsibility may be required with appropriate training and pay differential; limited time-off requests may applyn
Job Requirements
n Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia or compact state eligibility at startn
Prior travel nursing experience requiredn
ACLS certification requiredn
BLS certification requiredn
NIH Stroke Scale certification requiredn
Cerner experience preferredn
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare teamn
Responsibilities
n Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, telemetry, neuro, CVA, and medical-surgical conditionsn
Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriatelyn
Administer medications, therapies, and treatments in accordance with clinical protocolsn
Collaborate with providers and care team members to support safe, effective patient outcomesn
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely mannern
Support unit workflow and contribute to a positive, team-oriented patient care environmentn
Assist with charge responsibilities if needed and trained for the rolen
