Job Requirements
n Active RN license in the state of assignmentn
2 years of recent acute care nursing experience requiredn
Prior travel nursing experience requiredn
Cardiac stepdown, telemetry, intermediate care, or medical-surgical nursing experience preferredn
Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needsn
Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skillsn
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environmentn
Responsibilities
n Provide bedside nursing care to patients with cardiac and medical-surgical conditionsn
Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, atrial fibrillation with RVR, and respiratory failuren
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient outcomesn
Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care accuratelyn
Perform ongoing assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient conditionn
Float to medical-surgical and telemetry areas as needed, including ED holds for admission supportn
Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach while working 12-hour day shiftsn
