n Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250n

Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; rotating nights, weekends, and holidaysn
Hours: 36 hours per weekn
Orientation: 2-day orientationn
Unit Size: 32 private roomsn
Patient Ratio: 3-4 patients per nursen
Charting System: EPICn
Qualifications
n Experience in stepdown , telemetry , cardiac, or acute care settings preferredn
Ability to read and interpret telemetryn
Comfortable caring for patients with chest tubesn
Current ACLS certificationn
Current BLS certificationn
Current NIHSS certificationn
Active RN license eligible for practice in Illinoisn
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skillsn
Flexibility to float as needed based on patient care needsn
Responsibilities
n Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult stepdown patients with complex medical and cardiac conditionsn
Monitor and interpret telemetry, recognize changes in patient status, and escalate concerns appropriatelyn
Care for patients with diagnoses including COPD, CHF, sepsis, diabetes, DKA, renal conditions, pneumonia, and neuro/surgical/cardiac concernsn
Manage common interventions and devices such as BiPAP, CPAP, trachs, chest tubes, NG tubes, PICC lines, central lines, and dialysis-related caren
Administer medications and document care accurately in EPICn
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomesn
Float to other units as assigned, including ICU for clinicians with extensive ICU experience or general med floors as neededn
Maintain a professional, adaptable approach in a dynamic inpatient acute care environmentn
