Lancesoft is seeking an experienced Case Manager Registered Nurse for an exciting Travel Nursing job in Fairfield, CA. Shift: 5x8 hr days Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Pay: $3446 / Week
The Inpatient Case Manager assess, plan, implement, monitor & evaluate options & services to affect an appropriate, individualized plan for hospital patient care across the continuum of care. The Inpt CM will follow assigned patients working w/team members & Social Services to prioritize & strategize each day’s activities. Using independent judgment & discretion, the patient must be assessed & reassessed as an ongoing process to address the patient’s broad spectrum of needs. The Inpt CM utilizes clinical knowledge & competence, positive communication skills, problem solving & conflict resolution techniques, ability to effect change, strong skills in assessment, organization, & time management. The CM process requires a focus on critical thinking skills, customer service skills, setting appropriate goals & measuring outcomes to effectively ensure optimal patient outcomes w/consideration to financial & health plan resources. Works under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Supervisor. Responsible for preparing and issuing all disbursements with proper authorization in a timely manner. Ensures the accuracy of the amounts to be paid and the proper coding. Maintains all vendor accounts. Reviews, matches, codes and keypunches vendor invoices. Researches problems and works with vendors and staff in professional and timely manner. Maintains all vendor accounts by reconciling vendor statements on a monthly basis. Scans all incoming mail daily. Accurately accrues sales tax for out of state vendors. Produces weekly check run and associated reports. Matches checks to invoices – verifies invoice detail to check detail. Also runs month end closing process. Assists the Accounts Payable Supervisor and management with other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Requirements:
Manager is looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running and prefers candidates with travel experience, California experience, or ideally both. Candidates without either experience may not be considered a strong fit.
Case Management - RN .
-May be assigned any of the acute care units i.e. Med-surg, Med-tele, Surgical, ICU, possibly ED
-Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school or college. BSN required
-Licensure: Current California state RN license. Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Accredited Case Manager (ACM) preferred.
-Experience: Minimum of 2 years acute clinical nursing experience required. Minimum 2 years Case Management experience is required.
-CERNER AND EPIC preferred.
-5x8hr shifts weekly 8AM- 4:30PM, May be a mix of weekends and weekdays based on department needs.
-ED experience would be a huge asset.

Hourly Pay Rate
W2 Pay Rate RT (Regular Time): $55.00
W2 Pay Rate OT (Over Time): $82.50
Weekly Pay Package (Taxable + Nontaxable)
W2 Wage (RT+OT based on expected hrs): $2,200.00
Nontaxable Weekly PerDiem: $1,246.00
Total Weekly Gross Pay Package: $3,446.00
