Position Overview
nWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Coronary Care Unit (CCU) within an Intermediate Care/ Cardiac Telemetry specialty. The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiac and intermediate care experience, ensuring high levels of patient care.
Position Information
n Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Float Requirements: Yes
Call Requirements: No
n Unit Information
n Number of Beds: 20
Patient Ratios: 1:4 for Intermediate Care, 1:5 for Telemetry
Equipment Used: Philips monitoring system
EHR: Epic
Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric (No Pediatrics)
n Qualifications
n Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Skills & Experience: Strong cardiac and IMC experience is essential
Preferred Skills: Prior experience in cardiac care
n Common Diagnoses/Treatments
n Stable STEMI
Post-cardiac procedures
Medical intermediate care
n Personality Fit
nThe ideal candidate will be flexible in adapting to diverse patient needs and unit dynamics.
