Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Job Summary:

nShift: Night shift (7p-7a), every other weekend and holidays as required; options for 36 or 48 hours per week.
nAssignment Length: 13 weeks.
nRequired Certifications: AHA BLS and NIHSS; AHA PALS preferred for pediatric unit.
nLicensure: Must have an active AL or Compact RN license (no temporary licenses accepted).
nExperience/Education: Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience and ASN degree required.
nUnit Details:
nCardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU): 4-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients post-cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical procedures requiring critical care.
nStepdown Unit (CSU): 8-bed unit for post-surgical recovery (cardiac, thoracic, vascular surgeries).
nFocus on post-operative recovery, complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and a patient-centered approach.
nSupported by a cardiovascular educator.
nProfessional Expectations: High level of professional competency required.
nFloating: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
nCharting System: Meditech.
Med Ninjas Job ID #16619. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
