Responsibilities & Qualifications
ICU experience required.
Proficient in titration of vesicant medications, familiarity with pressors, sedation, paralytics, ventilator management, tracheostomy care, telemetry interpretation, hemodynamics, and pulmonary artery catheter setup and interpretation.
Procedural skills: cardioversion, central line insertion, EGD, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertion, pericardiocentesis, thoracentesis.
Advanced skills (desirable): IABP, Impella, CRRT.
Certifications
CCRN recommended (none required).
Desirable certifications: CCRN, IABP, Impella, CRRT.
