Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Weston, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse (Specialty: Cardiac Surgery) in a healthcare facility setting. The role involves providing perioperative nursing care for cardiac surgery patients, including those undergoing procedures such as CABG, valves, TAVR, VATS/thoracotomy, robotic lungs, and aneurysm repair. The position requires circulating outside of the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and may include scrub responsibilities.
Job Details:
Certifications and Qualifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association); local license to submit; minimum of 1 year of experience in operating room or open heart procedures.
Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The shift generally runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional coverage until 5:30 PM.
Position Type: Temporary assignment starting 10/26/2026 and ending 12/14/2026.
Shift & Call Requirements: 10-15 days of call per month, including weekends, with a response time of 30 minutes. Call rotations are shared with a team of three staff members, including holiday responsibilities.
Float: Float rotation may be required within the main OR or Outpatient Surgery Center.
Additional Information: Up to one week of unit-specific orientation. All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility. Scrubs are provided. Candidates must note if they have previously worked for Marshfield; if so, the end date must be at least six months prior to submission.
