ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR First Assist for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, days
Employment Type: Travel
Specialty: Cardiac OR RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant)
Shift: 3×12-hour shifts
Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Schedule: Primarily weekdays, 7 AM–7 PM or 11 AM–11 PM, with on-call responsibilities based on unit needs.
Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cardiac OR RNFA to support complex cardiac surgeries. The candidate must be skilled in chest exposure, surgical closure, and independently performing vein harvesting for CABG procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac RNFA experience
Active New York State RN license
CNOR certification
BLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
Telemetry experience
Preferred Experience:
First assisting in Da Vinci robotic cardiac cases
Scrubbing and circulating complex cardiac procedures, including CABG, Bentall procedures, minimally invasive aortic valve replacement, and Impella cases
Heart transplant experience
Additional Information:
On-call availability required according to unit needs.
Guaranteed hours and contract duration to be confirmed.
