Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVPICU for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas.

Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Open Heart (PICU OH) in a pediatric cardiovascular intensive care setting. This position involves caring for neonatal through young adult patients with congenital heart disease, post-surgical repairs, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplants, and ventricular assist devices. The role requires providing specialized care in a 24-bed Pediatric cardiac ICU and 12-bed overflow unit, supporting patients with complex cardiac needs.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Nursys License verification; Professional credentials including an active professional license or certificates; Ascension Profile professional certification; Two professional references.
Additional Information: Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience required. Nurse-to-patient ratios by shift: 1:1, 1:2 for ICU status, 1:3 for stepdown or non-ICU overflow unit. Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Valid licenses, certifications, and verification as specified are essential.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
