Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Diabetic Educator for a travel nursing job in Brooklyn, New York.
Job Description & Requirements
Specialty: Diabetic Educator
Discipline: RN
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
40 hours per week
Shift: 8 hours, days

Schedule Notes:
Must have strong RN experience who functions as a lead nurse. Familiarity with outpatient care and Diabetes a strong plus . Monday, Wednesday, Friday- 8:30am - 5:00pm Tuesday & Thursday session is 8:30am - 7:00pm One to two Saturdays a month 8:00am - 4:30pm
Shift Hours:
Days shift with a least one Evening a week and some Saturdays.
Required Education:
-Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Current and valid New York State Registered Nurse License.
-Certification in Diabetes Education.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Proven experience with technical aspects of diabetes care including insulin pumps and CGMs.
-Relevant experience in diabetes education.
-Proficiency in electronic health records and medical software.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills with emphasis on patient centered care.
