DESCRIPTION:
As an Emergency Room Nurse, you'll be at the forefront of patient care in a fast-paced setting. Located in Shreveport, Louisiana, this position offers a unique opportunity to work with diverse patient populations. Your schedule will involve 3x12 night shifts, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. REQUIREMENTS:
2 years of ED experience
Active LA or Compact State RN license
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC and CPI or MOAB required
TNCC preferred
Experience with NGT insertion, IV starts, chest tube management, defibrillation, splinting, and stroke/NIHSS care
ICU drip (gtt) management experience
Must be comfortable holding admitted patients in the ED and working with hall bed assignments
First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of permanent staff RN experience in acute care
