Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Canton, Ohio.

Position Overview
nAs a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care for patients in need of emergency services.
Key Responsibilities
n Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Conduct thorough assessments and triage procedures to determine the severity of patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding conditions and treatments.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and institutional policies.
n Qualifications
n Minimum of 12 months of combined permanent nursing experience.
Active Ohio nursing license or Compact State license required.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC from AHA or American Red Cross.
Experience with electronic health records, specifically Epic.
One recent reference from a supervisor, manager, or director in the specialty area is required for submission.
Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, achieving acceptable scores.
Must be available to work at least every other holiday.
n Schedule
nThis position requires night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
