Job Summary
nEmergency Room (ER) Nurse in a Level III Trauma, STEMI Receiving, and Stroke Center. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department setting. The role requires clinical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to operational excellence in a busy healthcare environment.
nJob Details
nnPosition Description: The ER Nurse will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, cardiac, stroke, trauma, and general emergency cases, in a dedicated emergency department with 18 beds and 4 critical rooms.
nRequired Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications. Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.
nSchedule: 12-hour night shifts, approximately 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
nAdditional Information: Candidates must pass the Advanced Dysrhythmia (83%) exam before signing the contract and have no full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with associated facilities in the past year. Call outs are discouraged; travelers may be asked to precept and are expected to follow unit-specific policies, including no responsibility for psych patient placement.
nSubmission Requirements: Candidates are required to submit a copy of their drivers license to validate legal name, and a government-issued ID must reflect their legal name for compliance.
