Patient Volume: High-volume Emergency Department with approximately 115-150 visits per dayn

Job Requirements
n Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state eligibility as applicablen
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department / ER nursing experiencen
At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment requiredn
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALSn
Previous charge nurse or preceptor experience preferredn
Experience with triage, IV starts, phlebotomy, and emergency medication administrationn
Comfort working night shifts and rotating weekend/holiday coveragen
Cerner experience preferredn
Must be comfortable caring for a wide range of ages, including pediatric and adult patientsn
Responsibilities
n Provide high-quality emergency nursing care for patients with urgent and emergent needsn
Perform triage, assess patient conditions, and prioritize care in a fast-moving Emergency Departmentn
Start and maintain IVs, obtain labs, and support phlebotomy needsn
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient statusn
Administer emergency medications and support critical interventions as neededn
Collaborate with providers and the care team to ensure safe, efficient patient flown
Support charge responsibilities when trained and assignedn
Deliver compassionate care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatricsn
Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit procedures and clinical standardsn
