Experience: 2+ years; Patient Ratio: 1:4nnCharge Experience: PreferrednnCharting: Meditech requirednnCertifications: ACLS, PALSnnTravel: Not required; strong ED RN experience requirednnSetting: Combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department; Shock/TraumannPediatrics: Asthma, burns, seizures, sickle cell crisis, head/spinal injuries, poison ingestion, respiratory infectionsnnPsych: Acute psychosis, overdose, suicidal patients, psychiatric holds, behavioral emergenciesnnRespiratory: BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, chest tubes, ABGs, intubationnnIV/Medications: Central lines, IVs, phlebotomy, blood products, vasopressors, sedation, paralytics, emergency medicationsnnNeuro/Trauma: CVA, TBI, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, hypothermia protocolnnCardiac: Dysrhythmia management, 12-lead EKG, multisystem organ failurennEmergency Skills: Triage, isolation/PPE, splinting, ortho trauma, GSWs, traumatic amputations
