Bed Count: 107 beds
COVID Vaccine: Required
Patient Types: Neonate to geriatric, clinic to critical acuity
Patient Ratio: 1:4 daytime and nighttime
Required Licensure & Certifications
RN Licensure: Required (Compact Accepted)
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, MHS Tele Exam, Crisis Prevention Intervention, Stroke Scale
Preferred: CPI or MOAB
Skills & Experience
General ER skillset including alcohol/drug abuse, cardiac, orthopedic, stroke center processes, no dialysis
Minimum 2 years experience in ER
1 prior travel RN ER assignment
Support on Unit
CNA/Techs: 2 techs 7‑7, 1 tech at 11, 1 tech at 3, 1 overnight, plus lab draws
Charge Nurse: Free floating
Resource Nurse: Most days 9‑9
Respiratory Therapist, Hospitalist, Telemetry monitoring available 24/7
Orientation & Scheduling
4 hours orientation with clinical educator
2‑3 shifts on unit before preceptor pairing (approx. 2‑3 weeks)
Weekend rotation every other week
No on‑call required
Holiday expectations vary
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse, ER
Experience: 2 years
Travel experience: 1 ER RN assignment
Licenses: RN (Compact accepted)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, Crisis Prevention Intervention
SSN required
DOB required
References: 1 within last 12 months
