WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Abbeville, South Carolina. Responsibilities Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life-threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high-intensity interventions. Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations. Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed. Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures. Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation assistance). Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR. Requirements Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain). Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience is required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association are required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. WCS Healthcare Partners Job ID .
