Job description
Express Healthcare Staffing of Miami is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Marion, North Carolina.
Job Description & Requirements

Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds : 101
Patient Ratios : 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
Unit staffing description- Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights
Type of equipment : baxter pumps, GE monitors
Documentation system: Cerner
Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can’t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.
Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit Hospital Specifics-
Certifications: ACLS before starting dateon hire BLS before starting dateon hire PALS before starting date on hire TNCC before starting date on hire CPI before starting dateon hire NIHSS before starting dateon hire ENPC within 90 days of hire Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. Previous HCA experience preferred. Must have: 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time.
