Job Summary:
nEmergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a healthcare facility within a 40-mile radius of the assigned area. This contract role involves providing high-quality emergency care during evening shifts. The primary focus is on delivering patient-centered care in a Level II Trauma environment, with a preference for candidates experienced in pediatric emergency services.
nJob Details:
nnSchedule: 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, guaranteeing 36 hours per week.
nRequired Qualifications: Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Active state license for the specific region or eligibility for a compact license. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an ER nurse. Must pass a 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia exam.
nPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
nShift Notes: 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
nAdditional Information: The role requires resilience, a strong work ethic, the ability to adapt to change, and effective social skills. The unit is designated as a Level II Trauma center, and pediatric experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to work every other weekend and holiday rotation.
nInterview Days: Monday through Friday.
nInterview Types: MSP (Managed Service Provider) interview.
