Position Overview
nWe are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Nurse to join our team. This crucial role involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience and the capability to handle a variety of situations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
n Provide patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions in a timely manner.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the attending physician.
Document patient care activities in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Assist in the organization of the emergency department workflow to maximize efficiency.
n Work Schedule
n Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week, with three 12-hour shifts.
Flexible scheduling options available, including block scheduling.
Requests for time off (RTO) will be considered during the interview process.
n Qualifications
n Two years of experience in an Emergency Department or a similar high-acuity environment is required.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory.
CEN certification is preferred, but not required.
Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs as necessary.
