Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Carlsbad, NM. This position involves delivering high-quality care to Emergency Department patients at a Level 3 Trauma center. The role requires critical thinking, leadership, and adherence to hospital policies to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Job Details
Shift Time: Days, 9am-9pm, with floating required.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required. NRP, ENPC preferred.
Education & Experience: No minimum experience required.
Responsibilities include performing thorough assessments, communicating findings effectively, administering medications, and maintaining safety standards.
Floating: Floating is within the nurse's scope and experience; ICU may be included in floating assignments.
EMR System: MedHost (EDIS).
Additional information: The position is a contract replacement. Fluency in safety standards, infection control, and clinical nursing practices is essential.
