Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)nn
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week contract position. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work variable shifts, particularly during weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
n Provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic Emergency Department environment.
Conduct assessments, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Respond to emergency situations with a calm and efficient approach.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
n Schedule Details:
n Shifts are scheduled from 15:00 to 03:00.
Weekends are required; scheduled days will vary based on staffing needs.
Must work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays.
Available hours: 36 or 48 hours per week.
No block scheduling can be guaranteed.
n Qualifications:
n Must possess at least 2 years of nursing experience.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level 1 emergency department or 2 years in a Level 2 emergency department is required.
Experience in pediatrics is preferred.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC are required; TNCC certification can be submitted as pending but must be obtained before the start date.
A Virginia nursing license is necessary; candidates may be submitted with the license pending.
Up to 40 hours may be approved for time off during the contract period.
