Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Job Summary
Emergency Room RN ER Location: Not Specified. This assignment involves providing specialized emergency care in a high-volume trauma level 2 or 1 environment. The position requires a dedicated professional to work night shifts, with a focus on delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
Job Details
Shift Time: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
Active VA or Compact license, at least 3 years of emergency department experience in a similar size ED and trauma level 2 or 1, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications, Trauma Certification (ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC), prior Cerner experience strongly preferred
Schedule: Night shifts, 36 hours per week, starting November 16, 2026, through February 13, 2027
Additional Information: Candidates must have prior travel experience for all CENTRA positions. Assignments start on November 16, 2026, with orientation occurring every other Monday. Assignments may end early due to census up to 36 hours notice. All required certificates and RTO documentation must be submitted upon application. Locals within 60 miles are not accepted. IVS to manager for approval.
