Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Baytown, Texas.

Job Summary:
nEmergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in Houston, TX. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume emergency department, with a focus on fast-paced, critical patient management, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
nJob Details:
nnSchedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
nRequired Qualifications: Texas (TX) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) License; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; minimum of 2.5 years of recent, relevant experience; EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred; experience in high-volume emergency rooms required.
nPreferred Qualifications: Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
nAdditional Information: The position requires delivering professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, conducting assessments, assisting with exams and treatments, providing patient education, and maintaining accurate medical records. The RN will communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians and the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate quality patient outcomes. Leadership responsibilities may include serving as charge nurse or preceptor, as well as participating in or leading unit initiatives.
