Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Department (ED) required for a 13‑week travel assignment in Gainesville, Florida. The role involves night shifts in a high‑volume, trauma‑focused emergency department at a major metropolitan academic medical center.

Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of ER RN experience, most recent assignment at a Level 1 or 2 trauma facility.
Last 12 months must include at least one assignment at a major metropolitan academic institution or trauma center.
Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience.
Recent Apex or Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
Florida or compact RN license.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either PALS or ENPC.
Must pass a specialty‑specific test and an EKG interpretation exam (minimum score 80%).
No work history gaps over 30 days.
Reference letters dated within 12 months.
Preferred Qualifications
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
Experience with float rotation (may be required).

Additional Information
All new RN starts are subject to unit manager interview and processing timelines. Candidates must bring license on day 1 of assignment.
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Cross Country Job ID # .
