Position Overview
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for the Emergency Department in Meridian, Idaho for a 13‑week assignment starting 06/29/2026.
Responsibilities
Provide acute care to a diverse patient population, including high‑acuity cases such as stroke, STEMI, trauma, and pediatric emergencies.
Work 12‑hour shifts (planned schedule includes 0730‑2000, 1000‑2230, 1130‑MN, 1330‑0200, 1530‑0400, 1930‑0800) with occasional weekend coverage and no block scheduling.
Perform assessments, interventions, and documentation in EPIC; interpret cardiac monitors, perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and wound care.
Adhere to facility policies, including a 50‑mile radius restriction and address verification.
Qualifications
Current license to practice as a registered nurse.
BSN degree.
At least 2½ years of emergency department experience in a larger urban hospital.
Active BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and ENPC certifications.
Trauma experience preferred; familiarity with common drips (Nicardipine, Propofol, Fentanyl, Norepinephrine, Nitro, Versed, Precedex, etc.).
