Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Waupaca, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Waupaca, Wisconsin. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care on a 12-hour night shift schedule. The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care within a small, 8-bed unit, adhering to established clinical standards and protocols.
Job Details:
Shift: 12-hour nights (Nights)
Schedule: 36 hours per week, primarily during night shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation
Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; at least 3 years of RN experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Emergency Room (ER) nursing; Epic charting experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
On Call/Call Back Requirements: None
Float: Float rotation may be required to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60 mile radius
Positions start on 10/05/2026 and end on 01/02/2027; contract length is 13 weeks
Interview Days: Monday through Friday
Additional Information: The unit has 8 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4. At least one previous contract completion is required for travelers.
