Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nurse assignment in Bridgeport, CT 06610, a vibrant coastal city in Connecticut . Join a fast-paced ER nursing team serving adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in a short-term acute care hospital with access to the greater New England region.

Location: Bridgeport, CT 06610, a vibrant coastal city in Connecticutn
Assignment Length: 13 weeksn
Schedule: 4x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30), every other weekendn
Shift Duration: 12-hour daysn
Weekly Hours: 36n
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 - $2,080n
Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatricsn
Experience Level: 2 years of Emergency Department experience requiredn
Charting System: Epic experience requiredn
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC requiredn

Job Requirements
n Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensen
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experiencen
Previous travel nursing experience requiredn
Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certificationsn
Epic electronic medical record experience requiredn
Ability to work every other weekend and thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced ER environmentn
Experience managing a patient ratio of approximately 4:1n
Strong clinical skills in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line care, isolation precautions, and IV vasopressor managementn
Responsibilities
n Provide compassionate, efficient, and safe emergency nursing care in a busy Emergency Departmentn
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients across a broad range of ages and acuity levelsn
Monitor and manage patients with cardiac, respiratory, trauma, and urgent medical needsn
Support high-acuity interventions and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare teamn
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Epicn
Maintain compliance with departmental protocols, safety standards, and infection prevention practicesn
Deliver timely care in a Level II Trauma environment while adapting to changing patient needsn
Contribute to a positive team culture focused on teamwork, responsiveness, and excellent patient experiencen
