Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Corpus Christi, TX. The position involves providing urgent care in a busy emergency department with low to moderate acuity patients. The role requires collaboration within a team to deliver timely, comprehensive patient assessments and interventions.
Job Details
Contract duration: Start date of 10/26/2026 through 01/25/2027
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred, at least 2 years of ER experience required, and candidates must demonstrate compassion, urgency, and teamwork.
Required Certifications: TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS
Responsibilities include assessments, documentation, medication administration, wound care, splinting, IV placement, urine collection, lab draws, and caring for ESI 5 through 1 patients.
Unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, may take up to 6 patients, and primarily handles low-acuity trauma patients.
Shift huddles at 7 am and 7 pm are mandatory. EMTALA training is essential.
Scrubs should be royal blue; team jerseys are encouraged during seasonal events.
Knowledge of Meditech EMR and basic equipment such as cardiac monitors and IV pumps is required.
Transitioning from a Level IV to a Level II trauma hospital, with a focus on timely stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma care.
