Job Summary:
Emergency Room RN in an urban Level 1 Trauma Center. This position involves providing care to emergency patients, including those admitted as boarders on the medical-surgical unit, with a focus on trauma-level care. The role requires handling approximately five patients at a time and working every other weekend.
Job Details:
Position Description: Med Surg RN who will work in the Emergency Room. This RN will take assignment of patients (around 1:5) admitted to and awaiting beds on med surg floors (aka boarders). These will be med surg level of care patients.
Certifications/Education/Experience: Valid Driver's License/State ID, UCH Resume, Med Surg RN experience at a level 1 trauma center, travel experience, and at least 2 years of RN experience.
Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, working every other weekend.
Required Qualifications:
Med Surg RN experience at a level 1 trauma center; must have travel experience; at least 2 years of RN experience; valid Driver's License/State ID; UCH Resume.
Additional Information: The unit is an Emergency Room at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role involves managing patients who are awaiting beds on the med surg floors, with a typical patient assignment of approximately 1:5.
