Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM-7:00 AMn
Shift Duration: 12 hoursn
Shifts per Week: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours totaln
Weekend Requirement: One out of every three weekendsn
Additional Opportunities: Candidates willing to pick up additional weekend shifts are highly desirable. A potential temp-to-hire transition may be available.n
Emergency Room Nurse Job Requirements
n Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department or emergency room nursing experiencen
Trauma nursing experience preferred, but not requiredn
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Pennsylvanian
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) requiredn
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificationsn
Strong emergency assessment, prioritization, triage, and critical-thinking skillsn
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative emergency care environmentn
Emergency Department RN Responsibilities
n Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a broad range of emergent and urgent conditionsn
Perform rapid nursing assessments, identify changes in patient status, and prioritize care based on acuityn
Administer medications and treatments safely and efficientlyn
Monitor patient responses and communicate critical findings to the emergency care teamn
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary professionals to support timely evaluation and treatmentn
Assist with emergency procedures and trauma-related care as neededn
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safe transitions of caren
Promote patient and family education, comfort, dignity, and safety throughout the emergency visitn
